Excerpt From My Screenplay: TIME RIFT 6: GOD SAVE THE CYBERQUEEN

INT. WINSTON CHURCHILL’S MIND - DAY

A calm SUNNY DAY inside the British Prime Minister’s BRAIN. Winston Churchill’s SUBCONSCIOUS SELF-PROJECTION walks down the road reading a NEWSPAPER.

Suddenly a NOISE comes from overhead. Churchill’s Self-Projection looks UP and sees a KNIFE RIP THROUGH THE SKY. The sky TEARS IN TWO and a DEAD CYBERNETIC ROYAL GUARD FALLS OUT at Churchill’s feet.

WINSTON CHURCHILL
What the devil?

Suddenly another NOISE happens from the RIP IN THE SKY. The unmistakable figure of ROCKY “RIPCORD” KELVIN falls out the sky, COVERED in NEURONS.

Rocky takes a PUFF from his STILL-LIT CIGAR.

ROCKY
Mr. Prime Minister, we have to get you out of your own subconscious. Hitler is in your prefrontal lobe.

WINSTON CHURCHILL 
But it’s 1960! I haven’t been Prime Minister for five years!

ROCKY
That’s what Hitler is banking on. Take this, NOW!

Rocky hands Churchill a QUARTEX TIME-PLUTONIUM ORB. Churchill is about to take it when ROCKY GETS SHOT IN THE FACE BY A LASER.

Churchill turns and sees THE REAL ROCKY ‘RIPCORD’ KELVIN holding a STILL-SMOKING LASER  REVOLVER.

WINSTON CHURCHILL
What the devil is going on?

The real Rocky walks over to his DEAD CLONE and PEELS BACK the clone’s FAKE FACE. It is a ROBOT FACE with NAZI MARKINGS.

Rocky takes a puff on the DEAD CLONE’S CIGAR and looks at Churchill.

ROCKY
We’ve gotta go.

Rocky THROWS DOWN a SOLID PLASMA TIMEJUMP SPHERE that ENVELOPS Rock and Churchill.

WINSTON CHURCHILL
But where are we going?

ROCKY
Your brain. Sixteen years ago.

Rocky HITS the WARP TOGGLE on his MODIFIED DIVER’S WATCH. 

ROCKY
Let’s go win World War Six.

“BRING ME TO LIFE” by EVANESCENCE blasts. They DISAPPEAR.

SMASH TO BLACK.
